Sweet Deal!

Here on the western edge of the Adirondack Mountain range in pristine Northern New York we carefully handcraft the finest speakers made anywhere in the world by using native American hardwoods felled from the local forests and genuine American labor supplied by a handful of the most talented craftsmen in our remote region.

Here in the northern woodlands each spring season is portended by the sight of hundreds of old fashioned galvanized pails hanging from their taps on the Sugar Maples as the last snows melt into the forest floor.
This closely held tradition is cause for great celebration as the isolated and ancient sugar shacks burst to life for a few short weeks of hurried activity while the local purveyors of the sweet stuff put their lives on hold for the week or so that it takes to harvest and produce the year’s crop of syrup. The heady aromas of hardwood fires and great caldrons of vigorously boiling sap draw devotees into the hills for the chance to stock up. This past winter was among the coldest in memory, making for some of the finest syrup ever.

Like Adirondack Maple syrup, Meadowlark’s products are the real thing, the genuine article made from real trees, real wood by real people right here in the USA.

On a recent trip we snagged a small supply of pure Adirondack Maple Syrup that we would like to gift to you with each new pair of Kestrel2s, Ospreys and Blue Heron2s that ships from our factory until we run out.

The point we’re trying to make is this: Maybe it doesn’t matter to you where your speakers were made, who made ‘em, or how they were made. Maybe it does not matter to you that more and more “American” speaker makers are quietly having their cabinets and even complete speakers made abroad where labor is cheap and environmental ethics are low. But I’ll bet it does. After all, the very best stuff is made right here, and there is just no substitute for the real thing. One taste, one listen..... and you’ll know how sweet it is!
