Kestrel 2 Cinema Center Channel

The Kestrel 2 Cinema Center Channel is the centerpiece of an all Kestrel front stage. Elegant in design and minimal in exterior dimensions, this new model will blend perfectly with your Kestrel 2 mains by exhibiting the same wonderful dynamics, accurate tonality and natural expression of the all-important vocal range.


This compact but massively built design embodies the same advanced engineering features that we build into the Kestrel 2. Twin “W” shaped transmission lines port to the front for easy placement and superb bass control and dynamics. The first order crossover is hand built, point to point wired with silver solder and is comprised of the finest parts and resides in an isolation bay at the rear of the speaker. A Solen Perfect Lay 14 ga inductor comprises the entire woofer circuit. The tweeter signal path consists of a heat sinked Caddock laser trimmed metal oxide power resistor and our proprietary Canary capacitor. A twin pair of gold plated binding posts are mounted on a handsome, engraved, cast acrylic terminal plate and are ready for biwiring.

Careful sculpting of the solid wood baffle achieves precision timing of the signal coming from both woofers and tweeter.

The Kestrel2 Cinema Center Channel is available in all of the same beautiful, real wood finishes as the matching mains and may be special ordered in an endless combination of custom wood combinations. This cleanly executed design is hand built by our talented craftsmen using the finest hardwoods and veneers, hand finished with furniture grade lacquers and assembled and tested with care in our factory in northern New York.
