Blue Herons finished in Anigre

This pair of Blue Herons, dressed in fabulous, exotic, iridescent Fiddleback Anige, are headed for the floor of Sound by Singer in New York City.

Aside from the obviously musical connection associated with any fiddleback veneer, this very special batch of Anigre is unusually finely figured, fiery and electric.  We are holding a modest supply.  So, if blonde exotics are your thing, order any Meadowlark speaker in Fiddleback Anigre while it lasts.

The Blue Heron shares the same basic architecture as our Heron-i, but is a larger speaker that is based on the world's finest drivers.  Bass drivers are a pair of the amazing Scan Speak carbon graphite coned speedsters.   The mid is our favorite symmetric drive Aerogel four incher, and the tweeter is the absolutely amazing Audax gas piezo.  So, from the bark and growl at the bottom to the delicious, organic mids to the 'see-through' trebles, the Blue Heron is something special.

And, at $8,000 per pair, this carefully handmade speaker easily outclasses many of those 'corporate' speakers that sell for prices into the teens.

Quite a few pair of Blue Heron cabinets have been built that are just waiting to be dressed in your choice of veneer.

We are working on  a complete description of the Blue Heron to be posted here soon.
